Ciao! My name is Luca,
I completed my Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) at Monash University, Peninsula Campus and have been focused on my career in Hand Therapy ever since.
My passion for helping people achieve their goals started several years ago whilst completing an 11-month volunteer role, involving one-on-one collaboration with Indigenous youth. This involved assisting High School educators and students to facilitate learning and social integration. Through this experience, I developed a love for working with people from diverse backgrounds.
Through my previous experiences at Frankston Hospital and Peninsula Hand Therapy, I developed a thorough understanding of both the public and private health sectors. This inspired me to further enhance my skills in Upper Limb Rehabilitation. I have a particular interest in sports injuries, trauma, and working together with patients to achieve their goals.
Outside of work, you will find me playing football at my local club, boxing at my local gym, watching my favourite shows, going for runs, eating good food and spending time with my family and friends. I also love travelling overseas, particularly to Italy to see family.
