My name is Clare, and I’m from Ireland. I studied occupational therapy in Cork and graduated in 2018. I was always interested in working in healthcare, and I became interested in working in hand therapy during a student placement. After completing my acute hospital rotations I started working in hand therapy in the UK. I have always wanted to live in Australia and I moved to Melbourne in April of 2022. I am very excited to be able to continue working in hand therapy and seeing all that Australia has to offer.
I have a variety of hobbies including art, music and running. One of my favourite parts of hand therapy is supporting patients to recover function, and get back to their own hobbies and activities.
